George Bruce Bowen, age 70, of Maysville, WV passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at his residence. George was born on July 12, 1950 in Keyser, WV and was a son of the late Alberta R. Weimer Pearson.
In addition to his Mother, George was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Charlotte “Lottie” P. Weimer who raised him and his uncle Bruce Weimer who was like a father to George.
George is survived by his son, Jason Israel Bowen and wife, Sandra of Maysville, WV; granddaughter, Bobbie Irene Bowen; three half-sisters, Charlotte McClain, Florena Pearson and Janice Pearson; four half-brothers, Hugh Pearson, Jr., Tracy Pearson, Oscar Pearson and Charles Pearson.
